Frequently asked questions

Is Mythical Masala appropriate for my classroom?

Yes. Episodes are clean, age-rated in each lesson guide, and framed as cultural storytelling. No prior knowledge of Hinduism is needed, for you or the kids.

How long is an episode?

Most run 15 to 30 minutes, the length of one class period or a car ride. Season pages list episodes in story order with running times.

Can I photocopy the printables?

Yes, for classroom, library and home use. Please keep the Mythical Masala footer on copies and do not sell them.

Do I need to play the episodes in order?

Season 1 (Ramayana) and Seasons 2 to 4 (Mahabharata) tell one long story each, so order matters. Season 5 and the festival episodes stand alone.

Where do I send questions from my class?

Use the fan mail page. Grown-ups should send on behalf of younger kids, with first names only. Many questions are answered on the show.
