Neev (excited):
Hey, masala fans! Welcome back to Mythical Masala with Neev!
If you thought escaping a burning palace was the most dramatic thing the Pandavas would ever do... ohhh, just you wait.

Co-host (curious):
Wait—let me guess. Monsters? Magic? Maybe... a forest romance?

Neev (laughs):
Ding ding ding — all of the above!

In today’s episode, the Pandavas leave behind the burning house of lac, and head into the wild — where they’ll meet a demon, a mysterious forest princess, a man-eating giant, and even a Gandharva with celestial gifts.

Co-host:
Okay, so this is less of a chill forest retreat… and more of an epic monster-mash survival tour?

Neev:
Exactly! So sharpen your swords, hold onto your dhotis, and get ready —

Neev (narrating):
The Pandavas had escaped the house of fire, but don’t think they were safe yet.

They had left behind the flames of Varnavat...
only to step into the jaws of the wild
a dense, dark forest where every sound was suspicious...
and every shadow could be a predator.

Co-host (teasing):
So, basically… out of the fire, into the jungle?

Neev:
 Exactly!

But guess what?
They had the best forest bodyguard ever:
 Bhima!
The strongest of the Pandavas, who could literally carry his whole family — and I mean literally.

Neev (grinning):
 Picture this:

  • Kunti, seated on one shoulder
  • Nakula and Sahadeva on his arms
  • Arjuna and Yudhishthira balanced on his palms

Co-host (laughing):
He’s like an ancient Indian version of a human bus!

Neev:
Right? And he marched through the forest like, “Out of the way, snakes and shrubs — I got royalty to transport!”

When they finally stopped to rest, Bhima gently placed everyone under a shady tree.
The others drifted off to sleep, exhausted.

Bhima went to fetch some water from a nearby stream…
and that’s when things started to stir.

In a dark corner of the forest lived…
 Hidimba, a terrifying rakshasa — half-monster, half-nightmare.

Neev (low voice):
And he had just smelled something delicious...

Co-host:
Wait — was that… the Pandavas?

Neev:
Yup. Human flesh was his favorite snack.
 He was practically drooling.

So he did what any lazy monster would do…
He sent his sister, Hidimbi, to do the dirty work.

Co-host (mock annoyed):
"Ughhh, Hidimbi, go fetch me a meal, I’m busy being evil over here."

Neev (laughing):
 Pretty much!

But here’s the twist…

When Hidimbi followed her nose to the clearing,
 she didn’t see “lunch.”

She saw Bhima.

Tall, strong, heroic Bhima.
A human who radiated confidence, strength… and something she’d never felt before.

Co-host (gasp):
 Don’t tell me… it’s—

Neev:
 Yup. Cupid arrow alert!

Hidimbi’s rakshasa heart skipped a beat.
For the first time ever… she fell in love.

So instead of attacking,
she transformed herself into a beautiful woman and nervously approached Bhima.

Neev (as Bhima, alert):
“Who are you? What do you want?”

Co-host (dramatic, as Hidimbi):
“My name is Hidimbi. My brother… well, he sent me here to kill you. But then… I saw you. And now I can’t.”

Neev (as Bhima, confused):
“Wait… you were supposed to what?”

Co-host (still Hidimbi, dreamy voice):
“I fell in love the moment I saw you. I don’t want to hurt you… I want to marry you!”

Neev (as himself):
 Yup. You heard that right.

She came to kill him…
 and ended up proposing marriage.

Talk about a plot twist!

Neev:
Now, Bhima wasn’t used to this. I mean—he’s fought monsters, lifted mountains, even wrestled lions...

Co-host (teasing):
But romance? That caught him off guard.

Neev (laughing):
 Totally!

He sat there, blinking, while Hidimbi kept gushing.

Co-host (soft, dramatic voice as Hidimbi):
“I don’t want you to be eaten by my brother. I’ll protect you! Come with me — please!”

Neev (as Bhima):
“You want to marry me?! I just met you...
And I’m not afraid of rakshasas — they’re afraid of me!

Neev (lowering voice):
 And right on cue…

The ground shook. Trees trembled. Birds flew off in a panic.

And then… he appeared.

Hidimba.
Seven feet tall. Arms like tree trunks. Eyes glowing with rage.

Co-host:
Oooh no. He’s not here to bless the wedding, is he?

Neev:
 Definitely not.

When Hidimba saw his sister in her human form, talking sweetly to the human meal he was planning to eat… he lost it.

He charged at her.

But Bhima stepped in.

Neev (firm, heroic tone):
“Is it wrong to fall in love? You won’t touch her.”

And boom — the battle exploded.

Neev:
Two massive warriors clashing in the forest.
The others woke up in a panic. Arjuna rushed to Bhima’s side.

Co-host (as Arjuna, urgent):
“Be careful! Rakshasas grow stronger at twilight! You have to end this quickly!”

Neev:
Bhima nodded, eyes blazing with focus.

He slammed, spun, lifted, dodged, and finally…

WHAM!
Bhima pinned Hidimba to the ground with a thunderous roar.

The rakshasa let out one final cry... and then, silence.

Neev (softly):
The forest exhaled. The danger was gone.

But Arjuna whispered quickly,
“This fight was loud. Someone might have heard. We should go. Now.”

The brothers gathered their things and hurried away.

But then...

Footsteps. Behind them.

Yudhishthira turned around.

Co-host:
Let me guess… it’s not another monster?

Neev (smiling):
 Nope. It was Hidimbi.

She stood quietly, watching them go.

And then she spoke, softly, but with a strength in her voice:

Co-host (as Hidimbi):
“I don’t mean harm. I only want to marry your son.”

She looked at Kunti with honesty in her eyes.

Kunti turned to Bhima —
and Bhima? He was smiling. Wide and happy.

Neev:
 He liked her.

She was brave. Kind. Loyal.
And she saw him — not just as a warrior, but as someone worthy of love.

So, right there in the forest, far from kingdoms and palaces...

Bhima and Hidimbi were married.

The first of the Pandavas… to tie the knot.

Neev:
After their forest escape and Bhima’s surprise wedding, the Pandavas were… exhausted.

They needed to vanish from Duryodhana’s radar.
No royal drama. No flashy hero moves.

Just peace. And anonymity.

Co-host:
Which is kind of hard when you’re five famous warrior princes and one hungry Bhima.

Neev (laughs):
 Exactly. But they managed.

They reached a humble little village called Ekachakra, where no one knew who they were.
There, a kind Brahmin family offered them shelter in a simple hut. No palace. No servants. Just a roof over their heads — and that was enough.

Co-host:
 How did they stay hidden?

Neev:
Easy. They dressed like forest sages — bark clothes, quiet ways.
They asked for alms from villagers each day… and brought back the food to their mom, Kunti.

Now here’s the funny part.

Kunti would always divide the food into two parts:
One part for Bhima — and the other part… for the rest of them combined!

Co-host (joking):
That sounds about right. Bhima probably needed a whole kitchen just to stay full.

One evening, Kunti overheard something heartbreaking.

The Brahmin family was having a quiet, serious conversation.
She couldn’t help but listen… and what she heard shook her.

Neev (softly):
They were talking about… who would die the next day.

Co-host (shocked):
 Wait—what!?

Neev:
The father sighed, “It should be me. I’m old. Let me go.”

The mother wept, “But how will the children survive without you? I’ll go instead.”

Then the little girl piped up:
“My baby brother needs you both… I’ll go instead.”

Co-host (quietly):
 Oh no… that’s heartbreaking.

Neev:
 It was.

And just as they were wiping their tears…

Their tiny son stood up, grabbed a little stick, and declared with full seriousness:

Co-host (adorably):
“I will defeat the demon with this stick!”

Neev (smiling):
For a second — just a second — the whole family laughed.
Even in pain, that little boy’s courage brought them a moment of joy.

But Kunti couldn’t stay silent anymore.

She stepped into the room, calm but firm.

Co-host (as Kunti):
“Forgive me. I heard your pain. Please tell me… what’s happening?”

The Brahmin looked surprised, but also grateful.

And what he told her next…
would lead to Bhima’s next epic encounter.

Neev:
The Brahmin took a deep breath… and then he told Kunti everything.

Co-host (serious):
And it wasn’t your usual “bad day” kind of story…

Neev:
 Nope.

This was terrifying.

There was a flesh-eating demon named Bakasura,
who had made the village his personal buffet.

To stop his rampage, the terrified villagers made a horrifying deal:

Every week, they’d send him:

  • a cartful of food,
  • two buffaloes,
  • and one human being.

Co-host (shocked):
Wait — one human?! Every week!?

Neev:
 Yup. That was the deal.

And this week… it was the Brahmin’s family’s turn.

The Brahmin sobbed, “I’ll go. I’d rather die than see my wife or kids go.”

Kunti’s heart clenched. She couldn’t watch in silence.

Without hesitation, she said:

Co-host (as Kunti):
“Don’t worry. My son Bhima will go.”

Co-host:
 Wait — what!?

Neev (laughing):
Even the Brahmin was like, “NO! You’re our guest! I’ll get the sin of killing a Brahmana!”

But Kunti gently smiled and said:

Neev (as Kunti, wise and steady):
“Bhima is no ordinary boy. He’s faced demons before. Trust me — he can handle this.”

And boy, could he.

The next day, Bhima jumped on the cart like he was going to a picnic.

As he neared Bakasura’s cave, he started munching on the food meant for the demon!

Co-host (as Bhima, with mouth full):
“Mmmm… this buffalo curry is delicious! Yo, Baka — come get your lunch!”

Neev:
 The demon roared. Furious.

He stormed out, eyes blazing, and ripped a tree from the ground.

Co-host:
 Classic bad guy move.

Neev:
Right? He hurled it at Bhima.

But Bhima?

He just dodged, chuckled…
 and threw three trees back!

And then…
a clash of titanic strength began.

Fists flew. Trees snapped.
The earth shook under their blows.

But Bhima — strong as a thousand elephants —
soon had Bakasura begging for mercy.

And then — with one final slam —
 the demon was defeated.

Forever.

When Bhima returned to the village —
the cart empty, but he alive…

The Brahmin family cheered, laughed, and cried all at once.

Co-host:
 Kunti’s boldness. Bhima’s strength.
That village had never seen heroes like this.

Neev:
A disaster turned into celebration —
all because of a mother’s courage and a son’s power.

Neev:
After Bhima’s epic victory over Bakasura, the Pandavas had no choice but to leave the village of Ekachakra.

Co-host:
Yeah, I mean… if word got out that a mysterious sage-boy had just wrestled a man-eating demon to the ground, it wouldn’t take long for the Kauravas to connect the dots.

Neev:
 Exactly.

So, with quiet farewells and grateful blessings from the villagers, the Pandavas and Kunti continued their journey — heading toward the river Ganga.

They needed rest. Water. Peace.

But what they found instead… was a chariot parked in the middle of the forest, blocking their path.

Co-host:
 That’s never a good sign.

Neev:
Nope. A dazzling, radiant figure stood tall in front of it — bow in hand, eyes narrowed.

Angaraparna.
A powerful Gandharva warrior, who wasn’t thrilled about people wandering too close to his riverside getaway spot.

Neev (as Angaraparna, proud):
“This river is sacred to us Gandharvas. No mortals shall touch its waters while I’m here.”

Co-host (as Arjuna, calm but firm):
“We do not seek to offend. But we need this river, and we won’t be stopped by pride.”

Neev:
And just like that, a duel began!

Arjuna stepped forward with his bow Gandiva gleaming in the sunlight.
The sky shimmered as arrows flew — divine against divine.

Neev:
Arjuna was calm, focused. His arrows sliced through the air with perfect aim.
Angaraparna’s attacks were flashy — bursts of energy, whirlwinds — but Arjuna kept his footing.

The fight was brief… but powerful.

Co-host:
 And who won?

Neev:
 Let’s just say…
when the dust settled, it was Angaraparna who lay on the ground — winded, wounded, and outmatched.

His wife rushed to him, tears in her eyes, begging the Pandavas for mercy.

Co-host (as wife):
“Please… spare him. He meant no real harm. He was proud — but he’s learned his lesson.”

Neev:
The Pandavas, true to their noble hearts, showed compassion.
They helped him up. Treated his wounds. And Angaraparna, deeply humbled, knelt before Arjuna.

He bowed low and offered a gift:

Neev (as Angaraparna, reverent):
“You have bested me with grace. For this, I give you a divine inner vision — the power to sense beyond what the eye sees. And a gift of a hundred celestial horses…
Call them when you need them — and they shall appear.”

Co-host (grinning):
Wow — free horses and mystical upgrades? This is better than any rewards screen in a game!

Neev (laughing):
 Totally!
And with that… the Gandharvas vanished into the mists of the forest.

The Pandavas looked at the river — glowing now in the setting sun.

It was more than just a rest stop.

It was a reminder that no matter what dangers or obstacles lay ahead…
they were protected. And destined for greatness.

Neev:
And that brings us to the end of today’s adventure! From a rakshasa falling in love, to a demon with a tree problem, to a mystical Gandharva duel — what. an. episode!

Co-host:
I’m still thinking about Bhima’s “I’ll carry everyone on my shoulders” moment. Can we just agree he’s a real-life action figure?

Neev:
Totally. But let’s not forget Arjuna’s shining moment too — and the gift of a hundred magical horses! Things are getting exciting, and we’re just getting started.

Co-host:
Join us next time as the Pandavas continue their journey — new cities, new identities, and maybe even a surprise wedding or two…?

Neev:
Ooooh, now you’re teasing spoilers! Until then, keep dreaming big, staying curious, and always remember: the mightiest heroes are those who walk the path of dharma.

Both:
 Bye, myth-lovers! 👋
